“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”
1 Corinthians 1:9 (NKJV)
Children’s Ministry Leaders
Karl and Sandra Louther
Karl and Sandra Louther have resided in Euless for 15 years and have one son. Karl was brought up in a strong Christian family where his dad served as lead deacon. Sandra came to Texas from Kentucky in 1986. After her move here, she accepted Christ as her Lord And Savior.
After coming to Calvary, God began to burden their hearts about the needs of children. As the passion to serve grew, they accepted the position of Children’s ministers at Calvary. They work together as a team bringing biblical based teachings, age appropriate worship music and exciting games that help the children learn God’s word in a fun and loving environment.
Currently their ministries include a time for children to study God’s word in a small group and during our morning worship they lead in Children’s Church for Pre-School and Elementary age children.
Their verse is John 8:12 “Then spake Jesus again to them saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not live in darkness but shall have the light of life.”
Youth Ministry Leaders
Antonio and Kristen Rushin
Antonio grew up in the DFW area after spending 8 years in Florida. While attending First Baptist Church in Euless his faith grew while in the youth group where he was saved and committed his life to Jesus Christ. He has had a desire and calling to work with youth since.
Kristen grew up at Calvary and is the results of the kids ministry and the youth group. After seeing how much impact the youth leaders had in the lives of the youth, Kristen decided she wanted to be a part of that experience.
After their marriage Antonio and Kristen accepted the position of Youth Pastor at Calvary. Together they lead Sunday school classes, outreach programs, camping trips, and continue to reach out to others and share the word of God.
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12 (NIV)
Some of the last instructions that Jesus gave us were to go and make disciples of all nations. Your mission field is your friends, neighbors, coworkers and family members. We want to help you become the witness God wants you to be. Besides you being involved in a Life Group (discipleship and Bible Study), we provide events and recreational opportunities for you to invite them to and help build relations with others at Calvary and with God. Ski trips, basketball, volleyball, flag football, camping and paint balling are just a few of the choices. Some of the seasonal events are Easter Egg hunt and picnic, Fourth of July parade, Family Fall Festival to name a few. Come be a part of a church family that is here to help you reach those around you.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen” Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV)

The Hands and Feet
“Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:38
Faith Works! is a ministry founded to show Jesus Christ, through our actions, through our words, through our love and through our trust in Him as we try to minister to and serve others in our community in need.
“Christ has no body on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours. yours are the eyes through which Christ’s compassion for the world is to look out; yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good; and yours are the hands with which He is to bless us now.” (Saint Teresa of Avila)
